Dear Experts, I build simple part model, 3D tet elements, constraints and one load, model has gaps, so I use nonlinear static in NX nastran. I have stresses checked to be output. When model finish running, FEMAP even asks if I want to import nonlinear stress and strain, I click yes, and then I see there no stress results, only displacement and force. But if I run same model switch to linear static with same gaps, I get stress results, why?

Post model here, there are 1000 possibilities to make something wrong.

When Femap asks "OK to Read Nonlinear Stresses and Strains?", clik "NO".

I'd set output option to "print and post-process", so I can read the f06 output file.

You're using TET10s ? (TET4s are crappy elements)

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

Thanks all for feedback, why click "NO" if solution non linear?

rb1957, yes I only use TET10, agree TET4 are too stiff.

"why click "NO" if solution non linear"
If you click “Yes” femap reads ONLY Nonlinear results.
If you click “No” femap reads All results (both Linear and Nonlinear)

When you say Gaps in your model, are you talking about Gap elements or physical gaps?
