Hi , as the title reads completely new to lasers and need a ton of help, we are looking at a few lasers, Mazak, Bystronic & Amada with Amada taking the lead (Ensis 3015 3kW)

we will be mostly cutting 12-14 Ga galvannealed steel . salesman pitch was you could cut with just shop air depending on thickness , Mazak sales guy mentioned possible oxydation issues if just using shop air, funny how the sales guys crap on the competitions products and pretend there is nothing wrong with theirs, anyways we are in S. California if that makes any difference, currently an Amada house here but willing to look at others, NOT impressed with the sales staff/pitch for the others mentioned but that does not mean Mazok or Bystronic might not be a better machine. I have used the search feature a bit, read about bad gasses screwing things up but still need to figure more things out .
so if you have experience with Mazak/Bystronic/Amada please share on what to look for. we powder coat our products & use galvannealed steel to help with the corrosion so I am wondering if we can cut with oxygen or should be use nitrogen or any other gas assist.

thanks.
