New Sketcher vs the old Sketcher 4

We switched to it 2 years ago, fearing the old one would soon go away.
What we like?
Nothing.
It's unpredictable, and forced constraints makes things worse as the more you constraint against the api the more you need to spend time finding the conflicts.
You work blind, as the api logic mostly remain hidden until it conflicts.
If it can be quick for direct childish shapes, it is a total disaster when you plan to develop parametrized large assemblies. All the strong relations from before are 10x more difficult to set up and to update. I guess that why they say not to touch an old complex sketch that still works fine.
Huge mistake to have switched to the new sketcher.

Thanks I do appreciate your feedback, we have been testing it on prototype parts here and there, and found it pretty slow, and difficult to work with. The old sketcher was straight up and easy to use.
For Simple stuff, it works ok, but we had a sketch, with the new sketcher, every time it was opened or something was touched, it was a 2-3 minute wait.
I hope the old sketch is not going away anytime soon.

Right, the update has considerably increased and I often find myself crossing fingers for it to go through. Weird feeling I never had on 25 years in UG/NX.
One more thing to consider is the method they have set up to update an old sketch: making the sketch current feature and leaving you the job to change the current feat after the update...
Imagine you need to update 50 connected sketches within a part and you start dreaming of the old world again !

One of my concerns is training.
How many hours will be needed to get up to equivalent speed on the new sketcher, per person ?
And after that, did the switch add any value ?
Are our users quicker using the new sketcher, is it easier to edit /update ?
I think, (? ) "all the other sketchers" ( Solid Works, Solid Edge, Creo, etc) works similarly to the "Old" sketcher, which means a new user with experience from another system can adapt to NX Sketcher quite quickly , but the new sketcher requires training and new thinking.
