With all due respect, JuhaEdag...
Since we are talking about Catia V5, and not UG - let me point out that the French, unfortunately, are extreme literalists. Therefore, in a Catia context, I found it appropriate to point out the mathematical definition of extrapolation, as a French programmer would see it, from a literalist standpoint. (although I understand that they sometimes accidentally make things work contrary to the literal)
I know that plenty of people have a real case of the backside for the price of Catia licenses - but the basic FreeStyle license which would include the 'syling extrapolate' is not that expensive - at least not as Catia products go. However, I can still do a lot more "negative extrapolations" using points and trim than the workbench would be worth for that particular function. (if no other value was realized within it)
I'm sorry that I got on your bad side this morning. Please note, that I *did* mention that it is "quite frustrating." If you're a "literalist," that means it affects me, too.
