Determining Core & Cavity thru Catia Draft Analysis

In Catia draft analysis, how does it determine whether a certain surface on the part belongs to Core side Vs Cavity side.

What CATPart attributes/IGES file properties does Catia use to determine it. Is it the Surface Normal Vector? If so, How can I read this value?
