Monitoring rslinx opc topics in rsview32 1

I am trying to monitor rslinx coms in my rsview32 system. I have tried different ways of accomplishing this to no avail. I assume there should be a way to do this considering both are rockwell products. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you using OPC connection to view32? You can use predefined items for com status like [topicname]@ispresent.
