I am looking for a rule of thumb for the maximum street cross slope change in grade for a minor street warping when approaching an intersection. I found the following on a Colorado web site:
The rate of change in pavement cross slope, when warping side streets at intersections, shall not exceed 1% every:
· 25 feet horizontally on local road
· 37.5 feet horizontally on a collector
· 56.5 feet horizontally on arterial roadways
Does anyone know of any other standards?
Thanks,
Jeff
