Let's say I have an open patio and i put a 2% slope on it for drainage. When the owners place their furniture on it, will they complain that their table and chairs are tilted? Basically, how much slope is too much for a tabletop?

1% is fine for drainage

2% is visible

If the patio is adjacent to a structure, I suggest also checking your local building code. For example, part of IBC calls for
"Impervious surfaces within 10 feet (3048 mm) of the building foundation shall be sloped not less than 2 percent away from the building."
