Hi,
in case i want to execute a river crossing using HDD system, is anybody aware of any limitations on the minimum width of the river to use this technology or it depends only from the elastic bending radius of the pipe?
Factors to consider include entry and exit angles, depth under middle of river ( min 10m usually to avoid blow out of mud) and bending radius (type 1000D).
Depending on pups size practical pipe entry angle could be 5 to 6 degrees otherwise bend height is too big tob feed the pipe in.
My guess is min 10m entry to exit

There is no answer to your question because of the many considerations. In addition to what was posted above, you have environmental considerations, the diameter of the pipe, the site, etc.
