How do I calculate/find the minimum thickness for pipeline installed by open cut method ?, is there a standard/code that addresses it? please mention it

Also you question is not clear. Do you mean a min t for a road crossing? or just plain open trench. but yes agree with Mr 44 - API 1102 is your go to design code for checking crossing designs.

but why do you ask? This is only one very small part of pipeline design. What position are you / responsibility and who else is there to guide you?

Thank you for the recommendation, right now i'm doing final project about HDD for steel pipe, i'm just curious about this information, if for case plain open trench or crossing river (the location close to road btw) is it still valid to use API 1102 or is there another code ?

For information, currently i'm still undergrad student.
 
For water lines, consider AWWA M11, which covers the topic.
