With our change to XM, it seems that we can no longer modify existing or newly placed Leader Lines.
Where text is attached to a Leader Line or not, it seems that the Leader Line and the Terminator are no longer attached, after they are placed.
If I select "Graphic Group" Lock, the Terminator will move with the Leader Line, but if I attempt to Modify the location of the end of the Leader Line, the Terminator keeps the original direction, and does not rotate with the Leader Line.
I have searched for some setting to select to no avail. If you know of the correct setting, please let me know.
Please see attachment for clarity.
Thanks,
R. Hagan

rhagan8063, I tried to recreate your problem and Place Note works for me. I noticed that you are using a cell as a terminator. What command are you using to create the leader. Place Note or Place Active Line Terminator

A little more detail on how the leader was created would help.

Is your Association Lock toggled on?

Hi Bob,
We use Place Note for our leaders. In fact, typing in the command "Place Active Line Terminator." did nothing.
I have selected "Association" on the lock toggles and on the Place Note dialog box, it makes no difference on or off, even after saving settings between each change. I have selected different terminators from cells to text. No difference.

If I move the leader without "Graphic Group" toggle, the line moves without the termiator.

Former versions of Microstation had a selection in "WORKSPACE", called "TILE LIKE IGDS". By selecting this, the terminators and leader lines would act like one element.

I should probably listen to my colleagues and just delete and relocate the notes. But, where that would take 4 actions, modfying takes 2.

Thanks!!
Rob

rhagan8063, don't listen to your colleagues,,, its broken so fix it. I would have to see what you are doing or at least look at a couple files. You can contact me off the board if you wish bob[at]envisioncad[dot]com

Otherwise I am sure you are on Bentley Select Support so you can contact them directly to see if they can take a look at the files for you.
Good luck,
Bob Mecham
