I am developing a low retaining wall to be supported by micropiles. The plan is to weld studs to the micropiles and affix concrete panels. Does anyone have details for this or a source for details? I very interested in a detail for the connection. The wall will serve as a scour protection barrier.

I don't have a detail to share, but I would say pay attention to welding requirements for anything you attach to the micropile casing. The casing is generally 80 ksi steel and requires special procedures to have anything welded to it.

Typically micro piles have a central bar that is grouted in to the micro pile. This bar is extended into the cap to provide a connection to the cap. This is much simpler and as dirtydude pointed out, more reliable.

DRC1: you did not address the question. There is no pile cap in this application.

No need to be rude to DRC1....use your engineering judgement on the details.
