Can anyone recommend an alterantive metal to tantalim for boiling mixtures of HCl from 1 to 20 %.
We currently use various grades of hastalloy but they tend to suffer corrision and fail within 2-3 years life span.
Obviously you can use plastics but the tend to not be as strong. Our temps go up to 180°C and in some applications to 230 deg C
