Would someone suggest a good book/course for Mechanical Drawing free if possible

I have never heard of one that is free. Any book on the subject at a book store is probably good. Also there are several specs to know, ie ASME-Y14.5 1994, ASME-Y14.100, ASME-Y14.24, ASME-Y14.35M, AND ASME-14.34M, etc. There are JC and city classes available. Good luck.

If you are looking for an introductory book on mechanical drawing, you may be able to get a "cheap" book in a used bookstore. Those type of books do not have much of a demand, and normally go very cheap.

"Engineering Drawing and Graphic Technology" by French and Vierck was my text from 20 years ago. There is also a an older book 'Technical Drawing' by Giesecke, Mitchell, and Spencer that was very adequate way back when....

If you can get a recent edition of either of those, I'm sure they would be very good.
