Does anyone know how to measure a vector direction to get IJK points in V5?

Thanks,

Sheryl

Never mind. :>) I finally found it right after I posted this.

For those of you who don't know, after you create your line normal to your surface,
1. Measure item, pick the line
2. Customize
3. Under Edge, toggle on Direction Vector.

I did not see it the first time I looked there.

Have a great day.

...get IJK points

These three values, to 6 decimal places, are the components or direction cosines of a unit vector. They could only be used as point coordinates in that particular case, where the line length is 1.0

Or, the point coordinates could also be set up as a parameter. (to return the value if the length changes)
