MatLab Image Processing Help

Hello everyone. Hope you are all well.

I am interested in some MatLab help for a very simple assignment.

What I need to do is some minipulation of images.
I need to take xray images from the internet. Three xrays of the chest. One normal other two with lungs problem.

Find the problem in the infected areas of lungs of both the images and the normal lung should be reported as normal.

I then need to select the abnormal parts of the 2 infected lungs and clarify it a bit. Every operation should be automatic, so I cannot manually select the area (ex/ cannot use "riopoly" command).
