Anyone using Mathcad to model PID loops in the
discrept time (i.e. z transforms)?

Not for PID, but yes I have used z transforms.

In what way is spending 2 days learning a new program an efficient way to solve a problem that will run in 2 seconds on a P120?

Cheers
