Mathcad and solve.

Hi,

I have been having this issue for quite some time, when solving equations in mathcad, sometimes it only solves the equation with 1 result when it has to bring forth 2.

Example.

f(x) = 2*x-x*1.02^x

f(x) = 7,5 solve,x -> 9,44

However it misses x = 27,63, which i can solve on my calculator.

I don't think that anyone necessarily argues that Mathcad completely replaces calculators, or vice-versa.

However, there are trivial workarounds from high school algebra that can be used to find additional roots, as shown in the attached file.
And one can see that the calculator solution was off by a noticeable amount

Oh, and note that if you use a guess value around 27, the solutions will flip
