Maintain distance between two parts when changing extrusion of one part 1

Hey guys,

Is there a way of maintaining the distance of two parts when changing the extrusion of one part? Obviously I want this to be done automatically by abaqus.

When you've used geometry related positioning (like Face-to-Face) in the Assembly-Module, then it would work.
Otherwise you can use scripting.
