CAN ANYONE PROVIDE A WELDING PROCEDURE WITH NO PRE-HEAT TREATMENT FOR WELDING PIPE FOR COLD (LOW) TEMPERATURE SERVICE?
THE PIPE MATERIAL WILL BE API 5L X52 OR DUPLEX SS.

Duplex does not require preheat in any case, air dryers needed only to expel mositure. API 5L x52 with no preheat is regular welding. What are the thicknesses involved, the process/consumables planned, the grade of the duplex, the temperature for the LOW TEMPERATURE SERVICE. Please provide more details.

Thanks and regards

If it moves, train it...if it doesn't move, calibrate it...if it isn't written down, it never happened!
