I am looking for a database that I can record and track incoming material inspection reports and supplier non-conformances. Access, Excel, etc........would be great. Freeware or software to be purchased, either is acceptable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Cygnas

Try this location for an opensource "equivalent" to MSOffice, Lotus etc. There is a spreadsheet/database program within the package. It is quite a download, but I like what I have seen and used so far.

Regards,

Thanks for the link............best part is that it's free.

I have an MS Access database I used while performing 3rd party inspections. It is a relational database with the following relationshios/tables

Customers >Projects>PO's>POShippingItems>INspections>ActionsTaken etc. It may be something you can use with some modification. There is a demo at and if you think it's something you can use let me know.
