Location of Abaqus License file 1

Hello all,

I need to check something in the Abaqus license file, I have installed the Abaqus-Solidworks associative link, which works ok in Solidworks, but is currently not picked up by Abaqus available in the license file.

Does anyone know where the license file is located in the standard installation directory?

Hello,

it depends on which OS you use and if the license file is located on the local host. If it is, you can simply open the Abaqus license manager "Abaqus Licensing" an in the "Server Status" tab the path to the license file is displayed.

On a Linux machine, simply go to the directory in which the lmpath is located an execute "lmpath -status"

However, often the license file is not located on the local machine, then you better ask the system administrator...
