Linking UPFs with ANSYS APDL

Hi,
I am new to user subroutine thing. I plan to write user material model for defining wood behaviour. In this regard, I need to compile and link User Programmable Features (UPFs) with ANSYS mechanical APDL. If you ask about what method I prefer for linking, the answer would be 'using the ANS_ADMIN utility'.

I have the following Softwares:
ANSYS version 17.0
Visual Studio 2015
Intel Parallel Studio XE 2017

I have tried several times for linking up following the ANSYS help instruction, but no luck without error. Would you please help me out this issue?
