Library feature problem

I have created a library feature consisting of a "cut revolve", some tapped holes and a plain hole. The base feature onto which these parts are places is a rectangular block. Solidworks lets me select the features (excluding the base feature) and create a library feature part (.SLDLFP) with no problems.

When I try to insert the library feature into another part (a rectangular block) the tapped holes and plain hole come in without a problem provided that I select mandatory and optional references. The cut revolve feature is incorrect, in that it does not cut the part; ie the sketch is 180 degrees out of position. I have had a number of other incorrect solutions by deliberately selecting features on the target part which do not correspond to those on the library feature part. In some instances the sketch for the cut revolve becomes distorted even though it is fully defined in the original feature.

I have experimented with different sketch relations with no joy - so far.

Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? N.B I am running SW 2003 with no service packs.
