Hello all,
Iam want to create some std cutouts for avionics gauges that we use. I wanted these to be used as library features. My idea was to create the sketchs and fully constrain it then save it out as a .SLDLFP. Then open my part that needs to have the cutout applied and just drag it in there and locate then cut. But when I attempt to drag in my library feature (which is only a sketch saved out) it says "Library Feature is Empty". Any ideas what this means?

I guess what Iam asking is it possibly to create sketches and save them as Library features and insert them with in an assy?

Thx

After you have saved the file as sldlfp, in the feature tree, right click the features you want to be part of the library item and "Add to Library".

Yes you can save sketches and place them in your library.

I always pre-select the sketches then save as an *.sldlfp

See help for further clarification.
