I'm having a small problem that is more frustrating then anything and I want to know if anyone can tell me what is going on.

I'm in a draft and I have all my options set for how I want things to look.

I then try and save my settings as a favorite for detailing later. I am trying to create a favorite for detailing in fractional units.

Everything seems to work OK until I do save it. Once I do my 1/2" leader length jumps to 1" and I have no idea why.

Anyone with any experience, or suggestions with this, would be greatly appreciated.

Hi James,

As far as I know leader lengths have to be controlled by a template. Things that you can save as favorites are text size, orientation, type of leader and so on. Maybe you should look into creating a drawing template to fix your problem. Templates can control all of the document specified info. I have created several for the company I work for and they seem to operate flawlessly. I hope this of some help to you. Of course this may be different in 2005. I'm running 2004 SP03.

Do you close the drawing after saving it and then reopen (which would call upon the Drawing.drwdot) then find the changes haven't stayed, or does the change occur after simply hitting "Save" (without closing down and reopening)?

It happens right after I save the favorite.

It looks OK for a few seconds then it just changes to the longer leader length.
