Laser cutting Corian

Does anyone have some suggestions on cutting 1/2" corian material. I'm using a 2000w Mitsubishi. Have cut many materials but this is a first. Any help would be appreciated

hello

corian is an "homogenuous" mix between 1/3 PMMA and 2/3 ATH
I think you can try your PMMA parameter

What is ATH? Do you know the exact formula of corian?

ATH means in French "trihydrate d'alumine "
it's like bauxite / the mineral base of aluminium

I don't know the exact formula of Corian : it's a patented
material of Dupont/Zodiac
