Our company has recently purchased Advanced Cosmos Professional, and I'd like to use the software to perform analysis of non-linear material (such as rubber) in large deflection problems. I'm being told the means to this madness is to use the hyperelastic materials, and I'm looking at both Mooney Rivlin and Ogden models.
I basically have two questions:
1) Can anyone here help give me a good rundown on the properties those materials require, and even possibly a resource where I can get the properties (for instance, Ogden asks for ALPH1, ALPH2...ALPH4 and MU1 and MU2)?
2) Has anyone here done such an analysis with this software successfully, and, if so, would you be so kind to take time out to communicate your experience to me?
Thanks in advance.
John
