Please help express F_x on output end in terms of F_y and theta

F_x is purely horizontal (one degree of freedom along X-axis)

Draw a free body diagram. Sum of forces = 0. Draw a force triangle.

One way would be to use a work equation to find the forces, once you've sorted out the geometrical relationship between the x and y locations as a function of theta.
