One of our guys was doing some dinking around and I think jbknudsen has the answer. "Save as PDF" and "File Print" to the Bluebeam "printer" driver are apparently different beasts. Looks like from what our guy said, "Save As" is the quicky, no frills - you get what they give you. "Print" gives you control. Haven't tested it myself.
BTW: I have PDF995 at home (originally for other reasons) and it works great too. Nice thing about print driver methods is they work with any Windows applcation.
