I would like to get internal solid volume (not the external) using catia v5. I alreday checked if thickness was created using subtraction of solid but that was not the case. And also has a lot of internal feature so difficult to sew surfaces.

I am using measure command but difficult to get the internal volume?

Also, other problem I'm facing is even if I cut the solid & measure volume using Intertia command it gives me the same volume the one without cut solid.

I will apprciate if someone can reply,

Johnab - interal volume - if you did not use a solid to remove the inside you will have to make one. Extract the inside material using GSD - extract face. You can use various options of point continuity and complimentary. Cap the extracted surface, you will not need to do this if the cap surface is planar. Create a new partbody, Part design - close surface. Measure the volume.

Regards,
Derek
