Hi I am working for another start up company, and we are reviewing CAD software. Currently I am using 3DX (Catia V6) after many years on V5. Dabbling with Creo, Proeng, Graphtec, Autocad etc.
I need to do a subjective review of CAD Packages, functionality and cost.
We predominately do 3d Electro mechanical assembly designs.
I am looking at 3D assembly's 2d Drawings, Sheet metal fabs, Harness creation and drawings as a brief requirement.
Is there a high level functions list comparison anywhere to identify shortfalls and benefits of packages.
For instance I know that with Catia I can keep adding modules to include sheet metal, Wire creating, pipework, kinematics etc but each module add £££.

Currently its seems to be, - use the package people in the company can use, but starting from scratch that is not the best solution.

Thanks
