"stone casting" in 2000BC ?? ('bout 1/2 way down, immediately above "prehistoric drilling") ... maybe they mean concrete casting (as they go into concrete usage in ancient times later), but i immediately though of casting (ie melting and flowing into a mould) stone would be pretty impossible way back when.

The good engineer does not need to memorize every formula; he just needs to know where he can find them when he needs them. Old professor

There are many skeptics however that believe that it is impossible that humans could have shaped and lifted a rock the weight of 2 semi's with their tools way back then.

This little YouTube clip is worth a watch: a guy demonstrates how to move huge weights without special tools and using only his own effort.

Multiply to the size of an army, and you get some idea of how some of these things might have been done. Not to belittle the amazing achievements of ancient civilizations, which are still a mystery- but not one I think we need to invoke space aliens to solve.

This brings to mind one of my favorite "demotivators"-
