I am displaying features from an inroads surface (surface>view surface>features) in a microstation v8 file. When I snap to the graphics, the elevations are completely wrong, however after viewing the surface in cross sections, it appears correct. What would cause the graphics in plan view to be displayed at the wrong elevation?

no, depth lock was not on. we did find a work-around however.
surface>update 3D/plan surface display
I have never used it before, but for some reason it worked. I still have not figured out why surface>view surface>features is not working correctly.
