Inroads Surface Editing

I'm fairly new to Inroads, having been a Carlson/Civil3D/LDD user for years. I'm trying to delete a couple of points out of a surface that have zero elevations. They are not associated with a chain or feature line and I can't bring them up in any dialog box to delete them. I've looked through the Colorado manual online and the steps don't seem to work with what I have. This is an existing surface that I didn't start on and other than deleting out all the triangles I don't see a way forward. Any ideas?
