Do pre-cast building (concrete) manufactures have id tags on their structures like the metal building guys? If so, where do I look for it when conducting a site visit?

Tilt-up is different from precast. Precast is fabricated in a plant and shipped to the job site. Tilt-up is poured on site (usually on the slab), and then a crane will lift it up into final position.

Tilt-up won't have markings, but precast will (in order to tell the erector where it goes within the building). The marking will correspond to a "shop ticket" and that shop ticket should provide all the information needed to fabricate the piece.

Some will have contractor specific details though, and proprietary items in the panels.
