hi,
I have a problem. I use femap with nastran (linear) and I have to solve a problem where a force F load the structure for t ms ( I know F and t). Is there a way to use linear analysis for resolve this problem?

Hi

Linear analysis should work provided that the material has linear behaviour. But you have to use a transient (time stepping) solution. Even if the material is nonlinear the linear solition is a good starting point.
