I am looking to compare my hand calculations from my classical laminate theory tool to a FEM model.

I am using FEMAP and want to apply a Nx load of 100lb.in.
How does this convert into the FEMAP load definition.

If I use point load the unit would be lbf correct ?

Nx should be lb/in. (force/width)
You apply Nx along the edge of a shell model plate.
