Hello all,

I need help, I have a software for label and bar code printing and it's data base is an excel file, you just have to make the layout of the tag or label where you want to print and the software will pull the value(s) to be printed from the excel file. Now, I need to print an image depending on a value of a cell, the problem is that the values that are printed comes from a cell value, so if I want to print an image, the image has to be inserted in the cell or the value of the cell has to be that image.

Any help on this problem will be very much apreciated.

I don't think it can be done. There is no way to put an image in a cell. Images are on the drawing layer.

Actually, there is a way, or at least, there was. You need to find something like the Code39 font. We made bar codes similarly. You simply get the font, copy the data into another cell and apply the font. Voila!

Additionally, there are programs that do this sort of thing, and they may be capable of reading from Excel.
