Good Day,
If turbine trips, Is there a chance of air ingress inside the turbine due to stop/ratio valve not fully closed or passing through?. If this happens, it will lead to explosion. Also, I would like to know what the safety procedures are when the turbine trips. In addition, how can we prevent stop/ratio valve from getting scaled.

If the stop/ratio valve is passing... I would imagine fuel gas leaking in to the combustors and in to the exhaust. That is the reason why prior to ignition, the turbine undergoes a purge cycle for a duration propotional to the volume in the exhaust. If the valve is leaking immedaitely after a turbine trip.. then there is a possibility of fuel gas coming in contact with hot turbine parts. However there may not be enough air to support combustion.. Let us wait for others to chip in with their thoughts...
