Hey,
Does anyone have any experience in working with systems that can control or limit the impact that ice (thermal expansion and crushing from wind) has on a structure in a freshwater lake?
I am working on developing a system to control ice damage to a floating breakwater. We are looking into water agitation systems as well as possibly allowing the structure to absorb the energy through displacement.
I wanted to see if anyone has worked with these systems or know of any others we could employ and how effective they are.
Thanks in advance!
