Hello,
You want to be at the bottom of the mat'l when cutting stainless steel add your mat'l thickness and your Z-gap and lower your focus accordingly.. if your flame is more on the orange side then speed up, if it is closer to white Slow down or keep the same feed. White flame can also mean that your focus is not low enough.. Orange flame can also mean that your focus is too low!!! If you know that you are down low enough on your focus then it's probably a feedrate issue . If you do not have a constant Steady Gas pressure you will experience a Burr in the places that the gas pressure was low!!
