Hi together
I like to select all faces of a feature (like a hole pattern) to give all of them a name (Edit --> Properties) without selecting each single face. I didn't found a way to do this. Is this impossible?
Thanks for your feedback

Sorry I forgot this. We use NX6

Either picking them individually, or with a rectangle, appears to be the only way to go - make sure your filter is set to "faces".
NX7.5 appears to have some inhancements that may help you, including picking instances (and not single faces) in syncronous modeling.

Selecting them individualy is annoying and a solution in synchronous modeling doesn't help because I need this feature-face-selection function in Edit --> Properties.
It is annoying, that in this function "Properties" the selection Dialog is limited to this simple "Class Selection" Dialog. In other functions, NX6 allows the selection of feature faces.

You can do Crl+J and from class selection dialog Select type->face then click Detail filtering (at the bottom of the dialog) and Highlight only Cylinder, give OK and pick the hole faces by putting window, deselct other cylidrical faces that u don't want.

Yes, I agree that there should have been some option to define criteria (by user) in the Class selection dialog. Criterias can be
All faces (edges) having some diameter (>=, <=, == )
All blend faces having same (range of values) blend value. and so on.
