How to get ANSI weld symbol in UG drafting?

I am modifying the old drafting file, which has the weld symbol in ISO standard, but I need this to be changed to ANSI standard. The actual problem is when I place the fillet weld, it gives the symbol attached to the extra dotted line. Even after I changed the settings in ug_metric to ANSI, the old files could not be changed.
If some one helps me to get rid off this will be appreciated.
