Hi happy solidworkers,

I've been trying to Cut-extrude a snapon lip feature in the inside of a plastic square container that has filleted corners.

So, I defined my profile in a sketch and then selected the path sketch. The problem is that the profile is performed only in one side of the container. Do you know how to make the cut-extrude feature go around the border of my square container, including the filleted corners?

Thanks in advance,
Vanleurth

The path needs to encompass the entire length that you want to cut to follow. In other words, your sketch needs to go around the corner, including the fillet. BTW the proper terminology for what you want to do is a sweep cut.

Thank you shaggy,

My sketched path goes around the corner including the fillet and it is a close rectangle.

I tried to select different options, though all, blunt, etc. but it didn't work. Then, there is an option down below the feature manager of sweep where I could include profiles. I tried to get my sketch entered there but no luck.

Perhaps, this is a begineers question but I don't know how to do this.
Let me know if you might have another insight on this problem.

Thanks again
