Hey,
After getting some help from our great members with my problem of finding a good core for my magnet, i have decided to anneal the steel i am using (1018) in order to restore/improve the properties of it after i machine it.

Any one have any experience with this process?
Can maybe direct me to a paper that describes it or anywhere else in the literature?

Thanks
