Hello,

I am doing a CAD draft on Inventor, and I have a part that has 1000 mm lenght. It does not fill the paper. I know how can I break the part, but what about the dimensions? How can I tell the model that I want to reduce 900 mm, lets say, and still have a 1000 mm dimension, with the break on the middle??

thanks in advance
regards,
Hugo

Have you tried it?

It should handle this automagically.

Inventor will be automatically take breaks into account, as long as it's a real break and not sketched.

Its magic... Thats all you need to know :)
