How best to protect mild steel in an anoxic environment? 2

I am going to place a mild steel structure on the ocean floor in an anoxic area to monitor Killer whales for the Institute of Ocean Sciences. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion or suggestion on how best to protect it. The structure will be submersed for 3-5 years and is mostly comprised of 4x4x3/16 box tubing if that has any bearing on the solution. Thank-you in advance for any help you can offer!
 
I would consider powder epoxy coating the components. Are you using thru-bolts with nuts? Threading directly into the steel could be an issue.
 
The addition of some small aluminium or zinc sacrificial anodes (as used on boat hulls for example) would also be a cheap insurance against premature failure. It would save you having to worry about expected corrosion rates in "oxygen free" environments.

Incidentally, if it is oxygen free how do the orcas survive?
