I am looking at a print that has a leader pointing to a hex shaped feature that says "SW6". This may be a stupid question but can anyone tell me what this means?

David

No idea, initially I thought maybe it was a bad print and should be SWG but that makes no sense.

KENAT, probably the least qualified checker you'll ever meet...

Is the "feature" a hole or boss, or a separate component, or just a reference to an area?

Could it be an unusual attempt to specify a Spot Weld?

[cheers]

Check out the 3rd item on page 7 (SA400-V 24.5062). It seems to confirm my guess.

CBL,

Makes sense, I'll "assume" that is what they mean and run with it. Thanks.

David

The SW note definitely is the size of the hex. I believe SW means Spanner Width, but regardless, you know what it is.

Cory
