My company is in gear manufacturing and common issues that come up are calculation plating thickness on splines teeth and alternate pin size measurements. I have the formulas to do this by hand and our gear engineering has a old DOS program that can do it but was wondering if there was something out there that is made for items like this that maybe doesn't do full gear analysis with and FEA but will do more basic gear calculation that a manufacturing facility might need to do. Even if it is a license software and not free we can look into purchasing it.
